RIYADH: The second Saudi Media Forum kicked off today (February 20) in Riyadh with an expected 1,500 media leaders, experts, analysts and specialists taking part.
The two-day forum will include discussions on a variety of subjects including visual, audio, print and digital. It will also review the media’s social, political, and economic role globally.
The first forum was held in Riyadh in 2019 under the umbrella of the Saudi Journalists Association. At that time, nearly 1,000 local and international participants took part in it.
This time, the forum has been taking place with a much broader spectrum and the number of participants has also increased.
As per details, more than 100 working papers will be deliberated in the forum international experts will take part in brainstorming sessions and workshops to develop ideas for bettering media content.
Here is the list of workshops taking place on the first day of forum:
Panel discussions with the Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and the Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi will also be held during the forum.
