Imran Khan will lead big election rally in Lahore on Wednesday: Hammad

LAHORE: Imran Khan will lead a big rally to open the election campaign of the PTI in Lahore on Wednesday.

This was announced by PTI senior leader Hammad Azhar outside Zaman Park residence of Imran Khan on Sunday while talking to media persons.

He said that the PDM government has lost its senses as soon as election had been announced in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

When asked, he said that Imran Khan was not afraid of arrest as he had always obeyed the orders of courts and appeared in all cases, which were falsely registered by the imported government against him.

He said that the whole Lahore would welcome its loving leader Imran Khan and come out to join the rally, adding that the rally would dazzle the PML-N and PDM.

He urged all workers and residents of Lahore to prepare for the rally, adding that there will be a scene of public revolution on the streets of Lahore on Wednesday.

Azhar said that the time and route of the rally would be announced tomorrow (Monday).

Earlier in the days, Islamabad Police arrived at Zaman Park in Lahore to arrest Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Toshakhana case on Sunday, Bol News reported.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal issued arrest warrant for Imran Khan. The court said the PTI chief did not appear on his previous hearing date.

Date of February 28 is mentioned on the arrest warrant of additional session judge.

Islamabad Police said they had come to arrest the former prime minister in the Toshakhana case. Superintendent Police (City) Islamabad Hussain Tahir is leading the police team. Police said they had come to give the notice to appear in the court.
