Non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Shahbaz Gill in sedition case
A District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Wednesday issued non-bailable arrest warrant for PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in sedition case.
Sessions judge Tahir Abbas Sipra conducted the hearing and informed about ending the trial against co-accused Amad Yusuf in this case.
The judge stated that the Supreme Court had directed to end the trial against Amad Yusuf.
However, judge Sipra orders the SHO to arrest Shahbaz Gill whenever he is seen and must be brought to the court.
On June 26, a District and Sessions Court of Islamabad started the process of declaring PTI leader Shahbaz Gill proclaimed offender in an alleged sedition case.
Following which, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had been directed to arrest Gill immediately and the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) chairman was also ordered to block his CNIC.
Shahbaz Gill has been accused of inciting masses to revolt against the institutions.
