
Case registered against Fawad Chaudhry for stealing fertilizer sacks in Jhelum
JHELUM: A case has been registered against former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on the charge of stealing fertilizer sacks.
Fawad Chaudhry was accused of stealing six sacks of manure, four chairs and a sofa set.
A case was registered in the police station Pind Dadan Khan on the complaint of Chaudhry Nauman Asif.
Fawad Chaudhry and his colleagues broke the lock of the house and Fawad and his colleagues attempted to seize the house, the FIR text said.
The plaintiff further accused that Fawad Chaudhry’s partner also took out ten thousand rupees from his pocket.
Fawad Chaudhry also injured one of his comrades and pressurized to withdraw the ongoing case of in the civil court.
Earlier, a District and Sessions Court in Islamabad on Wednesday sent former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry to jail on jail judicial remand in fraud case.
Before this decision, Fawad Chaudhry had been in police custody for a day as part of a physical remand.
He was brought before Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood, and during this legal process, his lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, was present to represent him.
Interestingly, Fawad Chaudhry’s wife, Haba Chaudhry, and his brother, Faraz Chaudhry, were also in the courtroom, showing their support.
As the case was being discussed in the court, the plaintiff had not yet come forward.
