Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has appointed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to hear the appeal against the decision to discharge him from the case.

The news sources said that a two-member bench headed by Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhary of the LHC will hear the intra-court appeal on November 7.

In the intra-court appeal, it has been held that the Single Bench suspended the decision of the Judicial Magistrate contrary to the facts; the Judicial Magistrate Gujranwala had given the decision in accordance with the law.

In the petition, the Supreme Court (SC) has been requested to annul the decision of the LHC Single Bench.
