PM Kakar approves hike in pay of senior bureaucrats

A significant increase in pay scales for MP1, MP2, and MP3 positions has been approved by the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.

This revision of the management position salary package comes with several notable changes.

For MP1 scale, the maximum salary has been raised from Rs 532,000 to rs 772,000 thousand, while the minimum salary has increased to Rs 629,000.

This marks a notable increase from the previous minimum pay of Rs. 433,000.

In the case of MP2 scale, the minimum salary has been raised from Rs 181,000 to Rs 263,000, and the maximum salary has increased from Rs 290,000 to Rs 421,000.

Similarly, for the MP3 scale, the minimum salary has been increased from Rs 127,000 to Rs 263,000, and the maximum salary has gone up from Rs 184,000 to Rs 263,000.

These pay scale revisions also include house rent, utility facilities, and additional perquisites for special pay scales. Furthermore, privileges provided under the vehicle monetization facility will continue.

It’s important to note that the revised Management Position Salary Package will be applicable starting from October 1, 2023.
