Caretaker PM Kakar Stresses Science and Tech Promotion for Development

Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Anwarul Haq Kakar has emphasized the need to focus on the promotion of science and technology to bring the country par with developed countries.

Caretaker PM while addressing the students at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) of Engineering and Technology in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that development in the world has been possible only with the help of technology, student should only spend their energy on exploration and discovery.

The interim premier further added that there is a lot of emphasis on acquiring knowledge in Islam, educational institution are close to my heart.

On this occasion, the Caretaker PM appreciated the services of GIKI in providing quality education to the students, by all the pioneers and present faculty members of the institute making the institute one of the modern institutions of the country.

The Interim PM further said that Pakistan is proud of you and the government will stand by the institute’s initiatives for the promotion of Science and technology education.
