COAS Gen Asim Munir leaves for USA on official visit today

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir left for United States of America (USA) on an official visit on Sunday.

This is General Syed Asim Munir’s first visit to USA as the COAS.

During his visit, General Syed Asim Munir is scheduled to meet the senior military and other government officials of USA.

It is pertinent to mention here that in just one year General Syed Asim Munir has proved his diplomatic skills. His relentless efforts saved Pakistan which was on the brink of default and steered the nation back on the path of progress. “A new Era awaits us, we envisage a future where we stand as a thriving economy free of IMF.”

Meanwhile, Armed Forces of Pakistan, CJCSC & Services Chiefs pay glowing tribute to Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider (NH) on his 52nd Shahadat Anniversary on Sunday.

During the 1971 war at Zafarwal Shakargarh Sector, Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed’s fearless actions and indomitable courage inflicted heavy losses upon the enemy & single handedly destroyed 16 Indian Tanks.

Sowar Muhammad Hussain’s martyrdom anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices made by the Armed Forces of Pakistan to defend the motherland.
