Iranian Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan, ambassadors’ return agreed this Week

After the improvement in the tense situation between Pakistan and Iran, the ambassadors of both the countries will assume their duties from January 26.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office (FO) it has been sated that after the meeting of the foreign ministers of both countries, Pakistan and Iran have agreed that the ambassadors of Islamabad and Tehran will resume their duties from January 26.

Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullhian will visit Pakistan on January 29 at the invitation of caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani.

Earlier, Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, has returned home, Bol News reported on Thursday.

As a result of Iran’s attack on Balochistan and the tension between the two countries, Pakistan announced its decision to expel the ambassador of Iran and recall its ambassador.

Pakistan responded to Iran’s attack on Balochistan through Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar.

According to a spokesperson for the Foreign Office (FO), Pakistan targeted the specific shelters of terrorists in Sistan province, Iran, in the morning. Many terrorists were killed in Pakistan’s operation.
