Five Islamabad police officials, including SHO, were suspended, taking action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Barrister Gohar’s house raid.

The statement of the Islamabad Police Spokesperson regarding the inquiry regarding the visit to Barrister Gohar’s house has been revealed, in which it has been stated that on January 13, the police reached Sector F-7 two in search of wanted on the information of an informer. The police immediately returned after finding out that the house belonged to Barrister Gohar.

The police spokesperson says that when Barrister Gauhar complained to the Supreme Court about the police going to his house, the Chief Justice of Pakistan summoned the Capital City Police Officer and ordered an investigation into the matter. But he asked to hear Barrister Gohar’s complaint, upon which ICCPO Akbar Nasir Khan assured Barrister Gohar of an investigation.

A spokesman for Islamabad Police says that the ICCPO has assured action on any police officer found guilty, and DPO City has been appointed an inquiry officer, and a detailed report has been called for in 3 days.

According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, the matter is being investigated, and strict action will be taken against violations of the law.
