Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa latest weather update

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cold and dry weather for Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next two days.

As per the synoptic condition, mainland air prevails over most parts of the country.

Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday.

Cold weather is expected in upper districts.

Dense fog/smog is likely to persevere in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and surroundings during night and morning hours.

Peshawar’s lowest temperature will likely remain between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Monday and 04-06 C on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather conquered in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.

Freezing weather prevailed in upper districts.

Kalam remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped 06 C below freezing.

In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 04 C.

Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.

Dense fog/smog prevailed in the plains including Peshawar.

Dense fog/smog interrupted traffic on inter and intra-city roads.
