The Meteorological Department forecasts rain in various parts of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and snowfall in select areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. Cold weather is anticipated in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohat, and Malakund expected to receive snowfall. Balochistan is forecast to be partly cloudy.
In Islamabad and Gir, fog is expected at night, while Murree and Galiat will continue to experience intense cold.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) predicts rain in different areas of Punjab from today until January 28. Western winds entering Pakistan will bring rain to Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and upper Punjab, accompanied by thunder and strong winds.
Snowfall is predicted in Murree, Guliyat, Nithia Gali, Kalam, Muzaffarabad, Malam Jabba, and other tourist destinations. The series of rains will later extend to Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Jhelum, Peshawar, Nowshera, Waziristan, Dir, and some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh, including Abbottabad.
