Air Taxi Service Now Available in Pakistan; Check Airfare and Details Here
In Karachi, air taxis have officially been introduced in Pakistan by a private company, offering commuters an alternative mode of transportation to avoid traffic congestion.
Initially, residents of Sindh and Balochistan will have the opportunity to book air taxi services from all airports, airfields, and landing strips in the region.
Sky Wings Aviation, an aviation company, introduced the service from Karachi, the country’s financial hub. With traffic congestion posing challenges, especially for emergency travel, imagining cities like Karachi and Lahore without long queues seems almost unbelievable.
Yet, the introduction of air taxi services brings hope for alleviating congestion, marking Pakistan, the fifth-most populous country, as the latest to embrace this innovative solution.
In the initial phase, the company’s CEO mentioned that four air taxis are ready for service, with an introductory hourly fee set at PKR 95,000.
The aviation company stated that they received inquiries from individuals interested in leisure flights, those seeking an aerial view of the port city and its surroundings, and those requiring emergency transportation to other destinations.
As of February 2024, reservations for the Air Taxi service are now available, allowing anyone interested in experiencing a flight over Karachi to book their slot and secure their spot.
