
Cold weather persists in Lahore, areas of Punjab
On Election Day, Thursday, cold and dry weather persisted in Lahore and parts of Punjab, with experts forecasting similar conditions for the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, most of Pakistan is experiencing continental air.
During this period, Lahore and most areas of Punjab are expected to have mainly cold and dry weather on Thursday evening, Friday, and Saturday. Freezing temperatures are anticipated in Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas.
Additionally, shallow fog is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, and Kasur during morning and night hours.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature is predicted to range between 7 to 9 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.
Over the past 24 hours, most parts of the province experienced cold and dry weather, with freezing temperatures in Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas. Shallow fog was observed at isolated locations in northeast Punjab.
Murree recorded the lowest temperature in the province, dropping to 3 degrees Celsius below freezing. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 68 percent.
