According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), extensive rainfall, along with isolated hailstorms and snowfall in mountainous areas, is expected across parts of Punjab from Thursday night through Friday and Saturday.

A robust westerly wave currently dominates western regions of Pakistan and is anticipated to affect most parts of the country until Sunday.

In light of these conditions, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are forecasted in various areas on Thursday night, including Multan, Kot Addu, Layyah, and others. Additionally, cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms, as well as snowfall in Murree and Galyat regions, is likely during this period.

On Friday and Saturday, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in several districts, including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Lahore. Heavy rainfall and hailstorms are possible at isolated locations, with intermittent rain and snowfall projected for Murree and surrounding areas. Heavy snowfall may lead to road closures in Murree and Galyat, and strong winds could cause damage to structures like poles and solar panels. Tourists are advised to exercise caution during this time.
