In Jeddah, every Pakistani citizen has the right to obtain a machine-readable passport (MRP) for international travel, provided that all required formalities are fulfilled.

A Pakistani passport holder abroad is entitled to the protection and assistance of Pakistani diplomatic and consular representatives in that country.

Applicants must visit the Regional Passport Office or the Pakistan Mission abroad for their initial passport application.

Documents Required for Online Passport Renewal

The following documents are necessary when applying for the renewal of a machine-readable passport through the online passport service:

Color-scanned copies of a valid CNIC, NICOP, smart CNIC, or NICOP on both sides are required for the renewal of a machine-readable passport through the online passport service.

Color-scanned copies of the existing passport, including the first two pages and one random page as requested by the system, are necessary for the renewal of a machine-readable passport through the online passport service.

A color-scanned copy of a valid visa, Aqama, residence permit, asylum card, or other nationality passport is required for the renewal of a machine-readable passport through the online passport service.
