Great News for Pakistani freelancers, UAE firms exploring Asian market this year
In recent years, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as a significant business hub in the region, with its major cities evolving into global trade and commerce centers. To manage large-scale operations more efficiently and reduce costs, tech giants and other companies are increasingly turning to freelancers for assistance.
As the world undergoes transformation, remote work has experienced substantial growth in recent times, with the trend greatly accelerated by the pandemic. Companies have now established frameworks for remote operations, enabling their employees to work from home or other locations. This shift provides flexibility and often results in reduced expenses for companies.
In line with these trends, companies in the United Arab Emirates are seeking to recruit freelancers from Asia, other Middle Eastern countries, and South Africa. However, they are offering lower salaries compared to permanent employees working within the Emirates.
The sectors identified for freelancers will primarily include sales, technology, data management, and marketing. Additionally, reports indicate openings in customer service, consulting, communication, creative design, software engineering, data analysis, and recruitment.
Senior officials indicated that remote roles will demand a high level of expertise and technical skills to secure positions.
Individuals interested in these positions can apply for remote work visas through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA).
The salary scale for remote employees is determined by factors such as job responsibilities, expertise, and company policies.
