New Water Bill Charges Applied in Islamabad: Check Details
In Islamabad, water fees for residents have surged significantly by 200 percent to 300% under a revised structure starting in January 2024.
According to reports, the administration in the capital city will levy Rs480 per month for houses with a plot size less than 250 yards and Rs624 for plot sizes ranging from 251 to 499 yards. Below is the table for houses exceeding 499 yards in size:

The Metropolitan Corporation of Islamabad has raised water fees for various categories of houses in model villages to Rs600, while government houses will have water charges ranging from Rs240 to Rs940 per month.
The fees have been raised to Rs480 per 1,000 gallons for houses equipped with water meters, with a supply limit of up to 5,000 gallons.
For houses consuming water over 5,000 to 20,000 gallons, the water charges will be set at Rs 70 per gallon.
The corporation has established a rate of Rs1.5 per square foot for charges applicable to hotels and motels located in the National Park and Blue Area.
It will collect Rs10 per square foot from garages that have vehicle washing service stations, while petrol pumps with service stations will be charged Rs40,000 per month.
