
Rains, gusty winds expected in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has predicted a decrease in the ongoing heatwave during this week.
According to the Met Office, various regions of the country are expected to experience thundershowers between June 4 and June 7, owing to the entry of weak western winds into the upper and central areas from tonight.
Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir is expected to receive showers from June 3 to 7.
In Abbottabad, Mansehra and Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rainfall with thunder is predicted from June 4 to 8.
There is chance of rain with gale winds in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree, Galyat from June 4 to 6.
Rain with thunder is anticipated in Quetta, Zhob and Ziarat from June 5 to 7.
Whereas in Sukkur, Larkana and Kashmore, rain with wind and thunder is expected.
This change in weather conditions is likely to provide relief from the prevailing heatwave, especially in the affected regions. The advisory from the Met Office suggests that residents in these areas should prepare for potential rainfall and take necessary precautions.
