Despite these scientific predictions, the final decision on the moon sighting will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

Eid ul Adha Holidays in Pakistan 2024 Schedule

The official holiday calendar for 2024 has set June 17 to 19 as the Eid ul Adha holidays. Since government offices are usually closed on weekends, the holiday period will effectively begin on Saturday, June 15.

If Eid ul Adha is officially confirmed for June 18, the federal government is expected to adjust the holiday schedule accordingly. A formal notification detailing any changes to the holiday dates will be issued by the federal government in the days leading up to Eid ul Adha.
