Islamabad Weather: Sunny skies and high temperatures expected
Hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad and its surrounding areas, with continental air prevailing across most of the country.
On Monday, most parts of the country will experience hot and dry conditions, while central and southern plain areas will be very hot. However, there’s a chance of partly cloudy weather with light rain or thunderstorms in isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening and night.
Tuesday’s weather forecast mirrors Monday’s, with hot and dry conditions expected across most areas, and very hot weather in central and southern plain regions. Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country, with southern areas experiencing very hot conditions. However, some rainfall was recorded in Hyderabad (9 mm), Jhang, Lasbella (2 mm each), and Bagrote (1 mm).
Yesterday’s highest maximum temperatures were recorded in Jacobabad, Dadu, Mohenjo-Daro, and Sibbi (45°C), while Khairpur, Okara, Rohri, and Sukkur reached 44°C.
Today’s temperature in Islamabad is expected to range from 23°C to 40°C, with sunny weather prevailing. It may feel like 37°C, with low humidity (13%) and no precipitation expected. Winds are forecasted to blow at a speed of 17 km/h.
