Karachi, Sindh weather alert: Very hot conditions forecasted
The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted very hot weather in most upper districts of Sindh province over the next 24 hours, with hot and humid conditions expected in coastal areas like Karachi.
Additionally, dust-raising or gusty winds are anticipated in central or southern districts during the afternoon, contributing to mainly very hot conditions prevailing throughout the province.
For Thursday, the forecast indicates very hot weather in most upper districts of the province, while coastal areas are expected to experience hot and humid conditions.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather dominated most parts of the country, with particularly very hot conditions in the southern and central regions. However, Dir experienced rainfall of 6 mm.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded yesterday were 48°C in Jacobabad and 47°C in Sibbi, Noor Pur Thal, D.G. Khan, Bhakkar, Okara, Kot Addu, Kasur, Layyah, Jhang, and Dadu.
Today’s temperature in Karachi is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 29°C, with sunny conditions.
The temperature may feel like 40 °C due to humidity at 60%, with no precipitation expected. Wind speed is forecast to be 35 km/h from the west-southwest.
