The National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) is an essential ID document issued by NADRA to Pakistanis residing abroad.

NADRA is responsible for managing, recording, and issuing NICOPs to the Pakistani diaspora living in Saudi Arabia or other countries.

All citizens living abroad can obtain an NICOP card through a straightforward process, enabling visa-free travel to Pakistan for those with dual nationality.

Pakistani residents in Saudi Arabia and other countries can acquire the new Smart NICOP by visiting any NADRA center. Specifically, those in the UAE can renew their NICOP using the Pak Identity app, avoiding the need for a physical visit.

NADRA has different fee structures for Smart NICOP based on regions – Zone A and Zone B. Saudi Arabia falls under Zone B. NADRA offers three categories – Normal, Urgent, and Executive – for issuing NICOPs in Saudi Arabia.
