
Karachi to experience drop in temperatures over next three days
Rain-wind/thunderstorms are forecasted for Lahore and parts of Punjab on Sunday evening/night and Monday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air is prevailing over most parts of Pakistan, while a shallow westerly wave is affecting the upper regions of the country.
Under these conditions, isolated rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Lahore, and Narowal on Sunday evening/night and Monday. Windstorms/thunderstorms with isolated rain may also occur in Bhakkar, Layyah, Taunsa, Rajanpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan during this period. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the province.
In Lahore, maximum temperatures are expected to be between 40-42°C on Monday and 41-43°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in Lahore and most of the province over the last 24 hours. However, isolated rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Islamabad and the Potohar region.

Hafizabad remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 45°C. The maximum temperature in Bhakkar was recorded at 44°C.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 39°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 48 percent.
