
More rains, gusty winds likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
More rains and gusty winds are anticipated in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and other parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Light to moderate monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are entering the upper and central regions of Pakistan, accompanied by a westerly wave over the upper parts of the country.
As a result, rain and gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Eastern and Southern Punjab, Upper and Central Sindh, Northeast and South Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir on Sunday night.
On Monday, isolated rains are forecasted for the twin cities, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast and South Punjab, Potohar region, Sindh, Northeast and South Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan. There is also a possibility of heavy rainfalls in certain areas during this period. Elsewhere in the country, hot and humid weather is expected.
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is likely to range between 35-37°C on Monday and Tuesday, while Rawalpindi is expected to see temperatures between 35-37°C on Monday and 36-38°C on Tuesday.
Recently, rain, wind, and thundershowers have occurred in Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northeast Balochistan, with hot and humid weather prevailing in other parts of the country.

Turbat remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 49°C. Maximum temperature in Dalbandin was recorded at 43°C and Nokkundi at 42°C.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 96 per cent.
