
More rains predicted in upper districts of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Light rain and gusty winds are forecasted for Karachi, Hyderabad, and parts of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are affecting southern and eastern parts of Pakistan, with a westerly wave influencing the upper regions of the country.
As a result, light rain or drizzle is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, and coastal areas of Sindh on Monday night. For Tuesday, mostly hot and humid weather is anticipated across most districts of the province, though light rain or drizzle may occur in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Dadu, and Larkana.
In Karachi, temperatures are expected to range between 31-33°C on Tuesday and 32-34°C on Wednesday. In Hyderabad, temperatures are likely to stay between 35-37°C on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Over the past 24 hours, scattered rain has been recorded in Karachi and other parts of Sindh. Rainfall measurements (in mm) include Dadu with 10, Badin with 5, Padaidan and Shaheed Benazirabad with 4, Mithi and Mohenjo Daro with 3, and Khairpur, Tando Jam, and Rohri with 2 each. Karachi (North Karachi, Gulshan Mimar, Kemari), Sukkur, and Hyderabad (Airport) recorded 1 mm each.
Karachi saw a maximum temperature of 32°C, with evening humidity at 81%. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was also recorded at 32°C, with evening humidity at 81%.
