President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a passenger bus in the Musakhel area of Balochistan on Monday.

They expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and urged that those responsible be held accountable.

Both the president and prime minister prayed to Allah Almighty for the departed souls to rest in peace and for the grieving families to find the strength to cope with their loss.

“The killing of innocent people is tantamount to killing the entire mankind. The terrorists are enemies of the country, nation, and humanity,” the president said, reiterating the nation’s resolve to keep up fighting terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz instructed law enforcement agencies to promptly investigate the incident. He also directed authorities to support the victim’s families and provide immediate medical care to the injured.
