
Isolated rains expected in Lahore, parts of Punjab
More monsoon rains, with occasional moderate showers, are expected in Lahore and various parts of Punjab on Wednesday night and Thursday, with intermittent breaks.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are making their way into the upper and central regions of Pakistan, while a westerly wave is affecting the upper areas of the country.
Under these conditions, rain is forecasted for several locations on Wednesday night, including Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Kasur, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, and Bahawalpur. Additionally, moderate rainfall is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Lahore, and Dera Ghazi Khan at isolated locations.
On Thursday, further rainfall is anticipated in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Kasur, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Moderate showers are also likely in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, and Gujrat.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 34-36°C on Thursday and 35-37°C on Friday.
In the past 24 hours, rain has already been observed in Lahore and other parts of Punjab.

Bahawalnagar remained the hottest place in Punjab where the maximum temperature was recorded at 40°C.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 62 percent.
