
Dry weather expected across Pakistan for next week; PMD
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts hot and dry weather in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various regions of Pakistan on Monday and Tuesday, due to the dominance of continental air over the country.
Under these conditions, Islamabad is expected to experience maximum temperatures ranging from 31-33°C on Monday and 32-34°C on Tuesday, while Rawalpindi’s maximum temperatures will likely be between 32-34°C on both days.
In the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan.
The highest temperatures, recorded at 40°C, were observed in Khairpur, Mithi, and Padidan. Islamabad’s maximum temperature reached 32°C, with relative humidity at 66 percent in the evening. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature hit 33°C, with evening humidity recorded at 51 percent.
