Today, Karachi is expected to experience humid conditions with partly cloudy skies and a chance of light drizzling. The Meteorological Department forecasts sea breezes blowing at 5 to 20 kilometers per hour over the next 24 hours.
Due to high humidity, temperatures will feel about five degrees warmer than the actual recorded temperature. The minimum temperature today was 25°C, with a maximum range of 31 to 33°C.
On September 3 and 4, Karachi should prepare for thunderstorms and rain as monsoon winds from the Bay of Bengal move into the area.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) notes that these moisture-laden winds will also impact the western regions of the country, bringing strong winds and rain.
Yesterday, the weather in Karachi was partly cloudy with a maximum temperature of 32.6 °C.
The PMD has indicated that this rainy spell will extend to various parts of the country, including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Balochistan, until September 4. As always, residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and be prepared for potential disruptions.
