
More rains predicted in upper districts of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Intermittent rain and gusty winds are expected in the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night and Monday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). A continental air mass is affecting most parts of Pakistan, with a weak westerly system present over western Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Under these conditions, areas including Mansehra, Pattan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kurram, Bajaur, Khyber, Orakzai, and Waziristan are expected to experience rain and strong winds on Sunday night.
For Monday, mainly dry weather is forecast for most of the province’s plains, with isolated rain and gusty winds likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Bajaur, Khyber, and Kurram.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature is predicted to range between 31-33°C on Monday and 32-34°C on Tuesday. Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts, with isolated rainfall occurring in some areas.

Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu remained the hottest places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where the maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C.
In Peshawar, maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 38 percent.
