The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has quickly become a top tourist destination, attracting travellers from both the West and the East with its diverse entertainment options.
To facilitate tourism, the UAE offers visit visas with varying stay durations for foreign nationals, including Pakistanis.
Foreign visitors can apply for a single-entry tourist visa, which is available for 30 or 60 days. To obtain a visa, the sponsor or host in the UAE must be an establishment in the tourism sector, and the applicant must pay the required fee and security deposit. A sponsor could be an individual, a company, or a hotel.

As of September 2024, the fee for a 30-day tourist visa is AED 200, plus a 5% value-added tax (VAT). Additional fees may apply if the applicant is already in the UAE, including a Knowledge Dirham fee (AED 10), an Innovation Dirham fee (AED 10), and a fee for applying inside the UAE (AED 500). Note that the total amount may vary depending on the applicant’s circumstances.
