CM Maryam Nawaz announces Rs130 billion scholarship program

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a scholarship program worth Rs130 billion for talented students on Thursday.

Under the Honhaar Scholarship program, scholarships will be awarded to students in 67 subjects over the next four to five years as part of the undergraduate program. The initiative will cover the full tuition fees for eligible students.

In her statement, CM Maryam emphasized that the scholarships would be awarded strictly based on merit. The program aims to provide opportunities for students who achieve high marks to pursue higher education.

Students can apply for the scholarship until October 18.
