
Governor Kundi briefs PM Shehbaz about political, security situation in KP
ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, here on Friday and discussed the political, law and order and security situation in the province.
The KP governor briefed the prime minister political and security situation in the province. They discussed the PTI protest and different related issues during the meeting. The development projects in the province also came under discussion in the meeting.
They said that President Asif Ali Zardari directed the KP governor to stay in Islamabad for some time. The sisters of founder PTI were arrested from D Chowk and shifted transferred to Secretariat police station. Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan reached D-Chowk despite the ban.
Meanwhile, IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi told the media that about 30 workers have been arrested so far in Islamabad so for. The IG said that the police would deal with the protesters according to the constitution and law.
