Pakistan has urged for a de-escalation of hostilities and resolution of conflicts in the Middle East.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed serious concern over the rising tensions in the region and called on all parties to prioritize peace.

She noted that Israel has increasingly violated international law and the UN Charter in recent months, leading to a severe humanitarian crisis.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch also highlighted that the recent invasion of Lebanon has exacerbated these tensions, negatively impacting the lives of innocent civilians.

She emphasized that the people of Palestine, Lebanon, and the broader region deserve to live without fear and violence.
