SWABI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared he will not return home until Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan is released.

Speaking at a public gathering in Swabi, Gandapur pledged that PTI leaders are prepared to lay down their lives for Imran’s freedom, emphasizing, “We won’t stop until he is freed, even if it costs us our lives.”

He further stated that sacrifices are essential to achieve “Haqeeqi Azadi” (true freedom) and to hold those responsible for injustices accountable.

Gandapur affirmed Imran Khan as the sole decision-maker within PTI, underlining unity and determination within the party to push forward.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan also spoke at the event, expressing confidence in Imran’s near release and describing the large turnout as a referendum against what he called a “mandate-stealing government.”

Previously, on October 31, PTI MNA and senior lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa remarked that Imran Khan’s release could occur in November, dismissing rumors of any backdoor deal and emphasizing judicial relief as the path to his freedom.

Khosa further speculated that the upcoming U.S. presidential election might influence PTI’s situation, hinting that a Trump victory could positively impact Imran’s case. He also accused U.S. diplomat Donald Lu of involvement in a conspiracy to remove Imran Khan from office.

Referring to the PTI’s potential march on Islamabad, he said: “We will not return until the release of the PTI founder.”

The CM said that they would fight but would not go back home.
