John Muhammad Khan, a PTI agitator involved in the Jinnah House attack, was sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. In his confession, he admitted to his involvement in the attack on Jinnah House.

The convict, John Muhammad Khan, confessed that he wore a military uniform shirt, made a video, and later burned the shirt.

Another PTI agitator, Shan Ali, who also received a 10-year sentence, admitted in his confession that he was influenced by the anti-army speeches of PTI’s founder. He stated that after the founder’s arrest, political leaders incited him, leading to his participation in the Jinnah House attack, where he caused damage.

Babar Jamal Khan, another PTI agitator sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for his involvement in the attack on the M.M. Alam Base in Mianwali, confessed to his role and accepted responsibility for the crime.

Daud Khan, a PTI agitator sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for his role in the Jinnah House attack, confessed that he carried out the attack on the provocation of Yasmin Rashid and Hassaan Niazi. He admitted that speeches had instilled hatred against the army in their minds and accepted his guilt.

Muhammad Hashir, who was sentenced to six years of rigorous imprisonment, admitted in his confession that he attacked Jinnah House on May 9, incited people in the name of revolution, and made videos. He revealed that the planning for the Jinnah House attack was initially done at Zameen Park under the leadership of Yasmin Rashid.

Faheem Haider, sentenced to six years of rigorous imprisonment, confessed that the PTI leadership had influenced him to participate in the Jinnah House attack. Similarly, Muhammad Ashiq Khan, sentenced to four years of rigorous imprisonment, admitted that the PTI leadership had incited them to attack Jinnah House on May 9.

He further confessed that he entered Jinnah House, recorded videos of taking items, and disclosed that they received training in Zaman Park for attacks against the army.

Muhammad Bilawal, sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment, admitted that he participated in the Jinnah House attack and caused damage under the instigation of the PTI leadership. He further stated that speeches, including those by Dr. Yasmin Rashid, influenced his mindset against the army.

Earlier, in a significant development following the tragic events of 9th May 2023, the Field General Court Martial (FGCM) has announced sentences for 25 individuals involved in the politically provoked violence and arson that shook Pakistan.

The incidents, which included attacks on military installations and the desecration of monuments dedicated to fallen soldiers, marked a dark chapter in the nation’s history.
