A hearing on the fake receipts case against the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi took place at the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad. However, once again, no decision could be reached regarding their bail application.

The bail hearing was conducted by Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Mujoka, during which Bushra Bibi’s legal team submitted a request for exemption from personal appearance.

The defense counsel informed the court that prison authorities were deliberately avoiding facilitating the PTI founder’s presence via video link. The lawyer further stated that lead counsel Salman Safdar was busy with other cases and joked that the authorities might claim the internet is disrupted due to the winter season.
