Nearly 170 Pakistanis have been deported from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and several other countries over the past 48 hours, with 24 individuals taken into custody upon their arrival in Karachi.

According to immigration sources, Saudi authorities deported 94 Pakistanis on charges including blacklisting, begging, drug trafficking, illegal residence, working without a sponsor, absconding from employment, and breaching contractual agreements.

Other deportations included three individuals from Oman, one from Thailand, nine from Iraq, one each from the UK and Cyprus, four from Indonesia, and five from Mauritania, mainly on human smuggling charges.

In addition, two people were deported from Qatar due to insufficient travel funds, while one Pakistani was removed from Tanzania.

In the UAE, 39 Pakistanis were deported over the past two days after serving sentences for various illegal activities and violations.

Seven of those deported were flagged as blacklisted in the Integrated Border Management System (IBMS), and several were involved in financial and immigration-related offenses, officials confirmed.

Meanwhile, 59 passengers were offloaded from flights bound for 21 countries, including the UK, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, and Malawi, due to visa or travel documentation issues.

Among them, 21 Umrah pilgrims were denied travel due to insufficient hotel bookings and funds. One passenger traveling to Italy was offloaded after their asylum request was rejected, while a traveler to the UK on a student visa and four individuals heading to Cyprus on study visas were also stopped.

Additionally, passengers attempting to travel to Turkiye, the UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Iraq, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo were offloaded. Four passengers, including a blacklisted individual, were also denied boarding from Oman.
