Soldier martyred, four terrorists killed in DI Khan IBO

A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred and four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the Maddi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on April 16, 2025.

According to ISPR, security forces launched the operation after receiving reports about the presence of terrorists in the area.

During the operation, troops successfully targeted and killed four militants. However, during the intense exchange of fire, 23-year-old Sepoy Basit Siddique was martyred after fighting bravely. The army recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in various attacks in the region.

A search operation followed to ensure no more terrorists were hiding in the area. ISPR said the army remains committed to eliminating terrorism from the country and that such sacrifices only strengthen their determination.
