As Zilhajj moon has sighted in Pakistan and Eid-ul-Adha 2025 is set to be celebrated on June 7. Government has announced Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to notification, four-day holiday for Eid-ul-Adha in 2025. The bank will remain closed from June 6 to June 9, 2025. The holidays will fall on Friday to Monday. This means employees across various sectors will enjoy a break for the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
The announcement of Eid holidays has brought a wave of joy among citizens, especially those who come from distant areas, as they can now celebrate Eid peacefully with their loved ones.
Due to the four-day holiday, people have started finalizing their travel plans and preparations for animal sacrifice.
Crowds have started increasing at bus terminals, railway stations, and online booking platforms, while the number of buyers visiting cattle markets has also gone up.
A government spokesperson has urged the public to maintain cleanliness, take proper care of sacrificial animals, and follow traffic rules during Eid-ul-Adha so that the festival can be celebrated with peace, happiness, and responsibility.
