US student visa for Pakistani applicants; latest update here

The US visa application process is changing, and one of the updates is about social media. Since 2019, people applying for US visas must give their social media account names as part of the security check.

The US Consulate in Lahore shared on X (previously Twitter) that students who want to study in the US should carefully read the updated rules before applying to make sure they follow the latest steps.

To get full instructions on how to apply for a student visa and book an appointment, applicants should visit the official US visa website at http://ustraveldocs.com.

Officials also advise everyone to keep checking for updates so their visa process isn’t delayed.
