Punjab has seen 73% more rain than normal this monsoon season, says the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

PDMA Punjab’s Director General, Irfan Ali Kathiya, shared on Tuesday that 165 people have died in Punjab so far because of the heavy rains. Most deaths happened due to lightning, electric shocks, or drowning.
