Another holiday announced in Punjab district

The Kasur district administration has announced a local holiday on Saturday, August 23, for the 268th annual Urs of the famous Sufi poet Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah (RA).

The official notification states that government offices, schools, and other local departments in the district will stay closed on this day.

The Urs celebrations will last for three days, starting on August 22 and ending on August 24. People from across the country are expected to come and join the spiritual gatherings, which will feature recitations, Sufi poetry, and other traditional rituals.

The annual Urs of Baba Bulleh Shah is one of the most important cultural and spiritual events in Punjab and attracts a large number of visitors to Kasur every year.
