Israel is a constant threat to global peace, must be held accountable for war crimes, says Ishaq Dar
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said that Israel poses a constant threat to global peace and must be held accountable for its war crimes. He stated that Israel’s aggression against Qatar is a serious threat to regional stability and reflects its reckless mindset.
He made these remarks while addressing the ministerial preparatory meeting of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha. Dar strongly condemned Israel’s illegal and unjustified attacks on Qatar and called them irresponsible and provocative acts.
The Deputy PM said that Qatar has been playing a key role in mediating a ceasefire in Palestine along with the United States and Egypt.
He said Israel’s attack is not only an assault on a sovereign state but also a direct attack on diplomacy. He expressed full solidarity with Qatar and assured the brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan’s complete support.
Dar also informed the meeting that Pakistan, along with Algeria and Somalia, has called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
