Pakistanis can now get Succession Certificates from any NADRA center
ISLAMABAD: To make things easier for the public, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that its Succession Certificate services are now available at all centers nationwide.
Earlier, these services were only available at a few selected branches. Now, citizens can visit any NADRA center across Pakistan to apply for a Succession (Inheritance) Certificate — a legal document needed to transfer the assets of a deceased family member.
NADRA said this step aims to improve access, reduce delays, and save families from unnecessary travel. The authority has urged people to visit their nearest NADRA center with the required documents to submit their applications.
This move reflects NADRA’s commitment to improving public service through digitization and decentralization.
In August 2025, NADRA made it much easier for people to get succession certificates.
Heirs can now apply from any NADRA center in Pakistan, no matter where the inherited property is located.
Previously, applicants could only apply in the province where the property was situated, which created problems for heirs living in other provinces.
NADRA has also shared the updated fee structure for succession certificates based on the property’s value:
