
4.8 magnitude earthquake jolts Hunza and surrounding areas
Tremors were felt in Hunza and nearby areas of Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale.
The center reported that the quake originated at a depth of 25 kilometers, with its epicenter located about 90 kilometers northeast of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Following the tremors, residents came out of their homes reciting the Kalma Tayyiba. Fortunately, no casualties or damages have been reported so far.
