
Foreign Office spokesman welcomed advisory opinion of International Court of Justice to Israel .
In a statement issued said that as an occupying power, Israel does not have right to unilaterally extend its laws to the occupied territory.
Advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice is related to “Israel’s obligations in the occupied Palestinian territory”.
Court has clearly stated that Israel, as an occupying power, is obliged to provide facilities to the UN and its institutions.
Foreign Office spokesman said that it is Israel’s responsibility to provide facilities, in particular to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees.
Court has affirmed that the occupying power is obliged to ensure the provision of food, water, shelter, fuel and medical facilities to the Palestinian people.
According to International Court of Justice, Israel cannot impede the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination in its entire occupied territory.
