KARACHI: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that it will hire 200 Junior Executives (Data Entry Operators) across different districts of Karachi and interior Sindh as part of its plan to expand and improve services.
According to officials, the recruitment drive will cover five districts in Karachi and nine districts in interior Sindh, with walk-in interviews starting on November 3, 2025.
To support its growing operations, NADRA also plans to buy land in several districts to set up new regional offices. The new offices will be established in Mirpurkhas, Mirpur Sakro, Kotri, Matiari, Chachro, Jhuddo, Mirpur Tharro, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sujawal.
Applicants must have at least an Intermediate-level education, and the maximum age limit for the positions is 25 years.
Officials said the goal of this initiative is to make NADRA services more accessible in semi-urban and rural areas, ensuring faster and easier registration services for citizens while creating job opportunities for local youth.
Earlier, NADRA launched a digital system for birth and death registration in hospitals and healthcare centers across Pakistan in partnership with provincial governments. The new system aims to make the registration process faster, more efficient, and transparent.
Under the guidance of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, NADRA is working to modernize the country’s registration system. This effort is part of the National Biometric and Registration Policy Framework, approved by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on January 1, 2025.
