Senior officer of ISL police committed suicide

Senior officer of ISL police  committed suicide  due to depression. Adeel Akbar, posted in Islamabad, belonged to Gujrat district.

Adeel Akbar belonged to 46th common of  Police Service of Pakistan. He was the topper of his batch in CSS.

Adeel Akbar was also reported to have Dengue Positive yesterday. Despite Dengue, Adeel Akbar was always on Duty.

He was also suffering from severe depression due to lack of promotion.

According to sources all of Adeel Akbar’s batch mates were promoted to the post of SP last year. BuT his  promotion was postponed until the next board.

ASP Adeel Akbar was posted as SPI-9 in Islamabad Police. He was the father of a one-year-old daughter.

DIG , Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, SSP Investigation Rawalpindi, SSP Security Islamabad reached PUMA Hospital.

IG Islamabad ordered an investigation into the suicide incident.

It should be noted that SPI 9 Adeel Akbar was shifted to the hospital in a seriously injured condition. But he  died during treatment.
